His brother was Sam. John Claude never mentioned his family to my dad. Of course my grandma (Amanda) died when my father was 9 months old and he soon married Miss Mittie and had a new family to take care of and never took care of my Dad. Sure wish we could untangle this mystery. I have even ordered the DNA kit to see if that will help. Keep in touch. I have a very old picture of John Claude and Miss Mittie. Interested?? Let me know.
