    3. Hello, would like some help!!!!!!!! Parents : James Thomas "Jim" Bradford and Mary Jane "Mollie" Gilbert Children: Willie Henrietta m James Thomas Cantrell; Lemuel Edgar "Doc" m Elsie "Aunt Elsie" Littlefield lived in Grandby MO Martha Emma "Nelle" m William Ilif "Bud" Lamar; Ruben Randolph m Ollie Clotildia Daniel; Lewis H. , died at 19, never married died of appendicitis; Mayme Maye m Walter Brooks Holland; Ruth Mytle, died at 9 yrs of age; Richard Lawson "Dick" m Jackie Lena Cole; Horace McCoy m Mattie Permelia White; *my line.....Robert Poston "Jack" m (1)*Lorena Maye Vance (2) Althea Bliss (3) Thelma Lawson Beulah Evelyn "Boots" m Edgar Leon Bradford, no relation. The Bradford family lived between Brazos and Santo, in Santo, Lone Camp, Millsap and last at Idalou TX Lubbock CO where Jim died. At the time of his death, Boots was the only unmarried child and she went to Fort Worth to live with Mayme (Bradford=sister) and Walter Holland and attended school. Mary Jane lived with Horace and Mattie for about 6 years. She visited around with several of the children, but later settled down to spend her last days with her daughter and son in law, Tom and Willie Cantrell. She is buried by her husband in Santo East Cemetery. The family of Uncle Doc and Aunt Elsie held a reunion in MO about 5 years ago. I would love to hear from any of those or any descendants of the children listed above. A. He was born Sep 22 1829 ; died Feb 28 1911 Brazos TX Palo Pinto CO. B. He married Mary Lawson on April 1918 . Mary was born 1831 Talladege CO AL: died 1857 Cumby TX Hunt CO. She is buried in the Campbell Cemetery, but Clara Cantrell Buzbee, daughter of Willie Bradford Cantrell could not locate her grave. C. They had four sons: 1 Columbus Rudolph "Lum" who m Sarah Elizabeth Newberry; Reuben Randolph "Rube" was m Mary Ellen Dobbs ;John Henry "Jack" m Emily "Aunt Pet" Littlefield: and James Thomas "Jim" m Mary Jane "Mollie" Gilbert. D. In 1853, William Henry and wife Mary Lawson Bradford and son, Columbus Rudolph came to Texas, where their other three sons were born. They lived in Hunt County for awhile. E. William Henry then married (2) Catherine Brumbelow. They lived in the SW part of Palo Pinto CO. Indians were an ever present threat, stealing their livestock and attackingf smailll groups of people. The settlers often had to "Fort" up when the Indians were raiding. Their children were listed as follows: 1. Martha Emily, b June 12,1861 m Tom Stover; 2. Eliza Q. b Aug; 4. 1865 m Wes Harris; 3. Buaycan B. b Aug 11, 1867 m Haney Reeder; 4. Charlie R b Dec 11, 1868 m Mary Bleeker; 5. Mary Ann (Molly) b Aug 14, 1873 never married 6. Amanda B b May 26, 1875 m Harvey Stover; 7. Albert B b Dec 30, 1879 m Vada Johnston; 8. William Henry (Dick) Bradford, b May 14, 1877 m Delphia Coberly; 9. Stella, b Nov 30, 1883 m Claude Hines; 10. Andrew J. b March 21, 1886 never married? died in an accident. Their mother, Catherine D. Brumbelow Bradford, died March 21, 1888. She is buried beside Whillliam Henry in Dobbs Valley Cemetery south of Mineral Wells, Texas, Palo Pinto County, just off Highway 281. The third wife of William Henry Bradford was a Mrs. Landreth. He married Nancy Hall. They were both born in NC abt. 1800. They moved to Cherokee CO AL bef. 1829. Their children were: William Henry m Mary Lawson Emma m Mr. Archer Martha m James Allen Glenn James m Hasseltine Posey All the children came to live along the Brazos River and Palo Pinto Creek in the Southeast part of Palo Pinto CO TX. Palo Pinto County, Texas - Military: Confederate Pension Applications On file at the TX State Lib/ Archives Austin TX Travis CO October 5, 2002 Bradford, Nancy H 29579 Palo Pinto CO Bradford, James Randolph 1830 Greene CO AL According to a letter he lived in Greene CO until 1836 1840 Benton CO AL (Benton changed to Calhoun CO in 1858) He came to AL to Cherokee Territory at the age of 19 from NC Reunions were started abt 1920 by James Thomas in NM (I am drawing a blank; need to eat) .
