    3. Had an email that I had connected ANN 'Nancy' Bradford, dau. of Col. John Bradford & Doritha Miriam Burgess to the wrong spouse. First, let me say that I do not know this line, but based the husband, HENRY B. BRADFORD on the following: Genealogical Abstracts of Wills, 1758-1824, Halifax Co., NC by Margaret Hofmann Will#1020 pg 705 WILLIAM BRADFORD 1 Aug. 1822 Nov. Ct. 1824 my half brother Richard H. Bradford money equal to 1/3 of my negroes my half sister Nancy Bradford and her husband HENRY B. BRADFORD all the residue of my estate Wit. HENRY BRADFORD, ELI B. WHITAKER Extr: my brother-in-law HENRY B. BRADFORD The correspondant, as well as entries on the internet, have her married first to WILLIAM BRANCH, second to JOHN WARREN. Other folks have HENRY B. BRADFORD, son of Philemon/Suzanne Clopton Bradford, marrying NANCY HUNT. This is the only HENRY B. I could find, BUT it could be another Henry B. that I don't know about. Suggestions? I also think Ann 'Nancy' Bradford's birthdate could be later than 1772. Her grandfather Burgess will was not written until 1777, probated 1794, naming her mother like she was still alive. Both lived in Halifax, surely he would have known if she was dead. Am not sure where birthdate's came from. Anybody know? Question: WHO are the people in the will? All the relations are correct by will of Col. John Bradford, father of all the half siblings in William's will. (Even the 2nd Henry, the witness is a half sibling by 1st wife, Richard H. & Nancy are by 2nd wife, and William is by 3rd wife.) In regard to Henry B. marrying Nancy Hunt, the Nancy named in will could possibly have been married before to a Hunt. Don't know. Any ideas....? Regards, Becky Mosely
