So I did a little bit of quick research. In 1860 Smith County, TX Census, there was a G P Bradford, 24, born in Georgia married to an Eliza, 20, also born in Georgia with children Laura, 2, and Jas, (could be short for James), 7/12. The Weeks in 1860 were Wesley, 41, and Lucinda, 37, both from Tennessee and their children, Elizabeth, 20, Mary, 18, Nancy, 16, William, 14, Green?, 12 all born in Mississippi and John, 10, Sarah, 6, and David, 1, born in Texas. I also checked the 1870 Smith County Census, there was no G P Bradford listed. Also the Eliza Weeks listed was 30 and born in Georgia, while Ferney and John were listed as being born in Mississippi. Could the Eliza Weeks listed in 1870 be Wesley's second wife with her children from her first marriage? Could his daughter Elizabeth have married or died? L Majors
