Beatty, age about 50, died at his residence on Elm street in East Waco today. Funeral today; burial in east Waco. Page 95 -- The Day, 1887 Sat., Jan. 8 (4-3): Mr. Wilson Bird died at the residence of his son-in-law, Adolpheus Beatty, 7 miles from Waco, yesterday. Burial at White Rock Cemetery today. Came to McLennan county in 1852. Was age 84. page 108 --Waco Daily Examiner, 1888 Tue., Feb. 7 (3-2): William B. Beattie died Sunday at his apartment, and was buried at First Street cemetery yesterday, with Rev. Horave Bishop of the 5th Street Methodist Church officiating. An expert draughtsman with Larmour & Herbert. Was born at St. Louis, where his father resides. page 300 --Waco Times Herald, 1901 Sun., Apr. 7 (15-5): Mrs. Mary I. Beatty died Friday six miles east of Waco on the Corsicana road, of old age. Was 82. Wife of John Beatty, who died about 5 years ago. Married in this county 35 or 40 years. Four children left: Charles B. and Eugene Beatty; Mrs. L. B. Robertson, and Mrs. Mary B. Goodman. Grandson in Waco: Oscar Robinson. Two children deceased: Jennings and Adolphus. Funeral yesterday from the residence. Burial at Oakwood beside husband. Page 312 --Waco Times Herald, 1901 Thu., Nov. 21 (4-5): Miss Brownie Beatty, sister of Mr. M. D. Watson, died in her room at the McClelland Hotel yesterday, age 19. Funeral yesterday from the hotel. Burial at Oakwood cemetery. Page 385 -- Waco Times - Herald, 1905 Mon. Aug. 28 (5-4): Roland Clarke of Bremond yesterday jumped into a well and was killed, at the home of his cousin, Charles Beatty, three miles east of the city. Age about 45. Family in Bremond. The well was 60 feet deep. Ship the remains to Bremond. Page 409 --Waco Times -Herald, 1906 Tue., Dec. 18 (2 -4): Mrs. J. L. Beatty died yesterday at Calvert. The remains were sent to Waco today. Funeral from the railroad station. A former resident of Waco. daughter, Mrs. M. D. Watson of St. Louis; also Miss Alice Beatty.
