The Cynthia Beatty she references marrying John Joseph Heard (born 1809) is the daughter of Thomas William Battey and Susan Heard and she is dead before 1850 and those are her children living with Susan Heard Beatty Robbins in 1850. The Julia she has marrying Lindsay Warren was born circa 1825 and is another daughter of Susan Herd Baty and William Thomas Batty. I don't know if I have all the right Battey/Beatty's but I tried. Jesse and Judith) was born in Wilkes county in 1787, and married John Stanton in 1802.They moved to Missouri in 1810. Their children were: William, who never married; Judeth, who married, first, a McClain; second, no children. Susan Heard, the youngest child of Jesse and Judeth, married at her sister's, Mrs. Harmon's with whom she lived, Thomas Beatty, and their children were: Thomas, Henry, Cynthia and Julia. After traveling in Cuba, on account of weak lungs, Thomas Beatty died and his widow married Dr. Robbins. Dr. Robbins was thrown from his buggy when out practicing-he left one son, Chauncey, who died in the civil war. Thomas and Henry Beatty married Whatleys of Beach Island. Thomas died of heart disease in Charleston, S. C., very suddenly. Henry was killed in the civil war, but left children. Cynthia Beatty (dau. of Thomas William & Susan Heard Beatty-DVZ) married John Heard and died in Alabama. Julia Beatty(dau. of Thomas William and Susan Heard Beatty-DVZ) married Lindsay Warren and is living in Louisville, Ga.; has two sons and a daughter. Mrs. Robbins died in Louisville.
