Hi Jayne, Bachman is her maiden name--I didn't bother to type in the Beatty, sorry for the confusion. The widows name appears twice on the card--first as Margaretta Beatty and then in a different section, Maiden name of Widow, her name is given as Margaretta Bachman. This is true for all of the cards. The dates do refer to Residence of widow or residence of soldier, probably extracted from letters or Bounty Land Papers or the pension applications themselves.
