I copied some Beaty War of 1812 pension cards at the Nat'l Archives today. There was one one for William Beaty, who enlisted Oct. 4, 1813, in Capt. John Kennedy's Co., Tenn. Mil. He married Martha Westmoreland on April 28, 1814 in Overton Co., TN. In 1850, 1855 he was living in Fentress Co. TN. In 1871 he lived in Casey Co., (PO Liberty) Ky. He died Aug 5, 1877, Casey Co. KY. The card states "Original Family Record in brief" Has anyone seen this pension application? It sounds like there might be an original Bible page in it. I will go copy this if anyone is interested--the copies have to be made during the week because it involves pulling the original records....Is this William Lineage 2 and how does he fit in? I also found a card for Thomas H. Baty (L20) --I will also copy his application if anyone is interested--card states "soldier's original discharge card in brief". Laurel Baty, L252
