    2. Is there a linage that has Beatty and Barclay connected in Tyler Texas? The following is from my cousin who is a Barclay. His ancestor was among the George and Ann survivors. Sarah Beattie L107 The Texas hero: James Barclay > the Walter Barclay/ McQueen line of descent; page 22: James Barclay, Tyler County, June 1874, age 58 in 1873 .. This Barclay was born in Tennessee, and came to Texas in 1834. He died 14 Dec. 1873 after his wife who died in 1857. "His children filed for his (military) pension from TX) and were named. (Here is the interesting part.) They were: Avarilla Risinger, Mary L. BEATTY, Jane E. BULLOCK, J. Walter Barclay, Phoebe A. Barclay, and Willian F (X) Barclay. They were all resients of Tyler County at that time.

    3. Sarah, Our lineage 208 has Phoebe Arizona Barclay who married Thomas Beaty Bevil, b. 1856 in TX - Woodville. Our file doesn't show Phoebe's parents. Thomas's mother was Margaret Mahuldah Beaty who died 1908 in Tyler Co., TX. I don't see any Mary Beatty in this line. ...Mike Allen -----Original Message----- From: Sgbt559@aol.com [mailto:Sgbt559@aol.com] Sent: Saturday, April 03, 2004 11:43 PM To: BP2000-L@rootsweb.com Subject: [BP2000] Beatty/Barclay in Texas...L?
