I went to try and complete the A. - James Beatty Bounty Land Claims and was told the box was lost. I am going to try and talk to an Archivist and see if a search can be made --I think this box must also have Beattie and Beatie spellings. I am curious if anyone has ever sent for and received a Bounty Land Claim for a Beatty relative who would fall in this group. I was able to index Batty, Baty and Batey and will be sending those out along with a new batch of Parental Civil War Pensions over the next few days. Laurel Baty, L252
