Bounty land Warrant Application File, Record Group 15, Box # 361 and 362 [These files are not indexed, so I copied the outside of each envelope to prepare an index. Box 361 begins with John Beatty. I hope to be able to index Box 360 and alternate spellings, such as Baty and Batey, at some future date. I have looked at every file in this index and tried to abstract additional information that would aid in identifying the soldier. I Xeroxed the claims for all soldiers from Tennessee, Texas, Georgia, Mississippi, Kentucky, South Carolina and North Carolina and would be happy to share copies of these.
