Hi Sarah, In your research of a few years ago did you ever run across this line; Samuel Beattie m. Elizabeth Beaty (sp) prior to 1825 and had a son James A. (?) Beattie b.1825 Salem, Washington Co, NY, who married Elizabeth Sprague ( 1826-1879 b. Salem NY. )Marriage was 11-27-1846.
