In the recent index I posted for Bounty Land Warrants I mentioned that I did not copy all of these files. I only copied the files for Tennessee, Kentucky, Georgia, North Carolina, Texas, South Carolina and Mississippi--these are states that are of interest to me in my research. I will be happy to share copies from the files I did copy (although I sent out 2 complete sets of Fentress County, TN Warrants to L2 (Nel and Willie) and ask that you share these among your lineage). If you want a copy of a Bounty land Application file you can order it directly from the National Archives (http://www.NARA.gov). The cost for a Bounty Land application is $17.25--the National Archives uses this money to help preserve documents and, quite frankly, they need every penny of it! You will need NATF form 85, which can be ordered at: http://www.archives.gov/research_room/obtain_copies/military_and_genealogy_order_forms.html Laurel Baty, L252
