Gr-gr-granddaughter of Thomas Beall and Eleanor Brooke, his wife. Thomas Beall (1743-1823) was a member of the Convention, 1776, for the Upper District of Frederick County. He was captain of a Rifle Company under Col. Moses Rawlings. He died in Cumberland, Md., a town he founded.
