He was born in Brunswick Co., Va.; died in Rutherford Co., Tenn., and is buried on his home place still owned by his descendants. Samuel Wilson (1743-1802) was a member of the Council of Safety 1776 of Harford County, Maryland, where he was born and died. John Sharpe (1752-1824) served as lieutenant in Armand's legion of Light Dragoons 1778. He was born in Mecklenberg Co., N.
