D pg. 192 20 July 1809 Robert Johnston of Washington twp. Franklin Co., PA one of the executors of Dr. Robert Johnston, deceased of Antrim twp. county and state aforesaid to Joseph Beatty of Hardin Co. and state of Kentucy. For $800 etc…. (Joseph is probably L-112) (Dr. Robert Johnston is connected through marriage to L-95) Bk. M pg. 397 (L-95) 17 Oct. 1828 I, Samuel Beatty of Allegheny Co., Pennsylvania have appointed Henry Coulter Beatty of the aforesaid county my lawful attorney in fact to make sale and convey for me my one half part of twenty nine hundred acres of land in the county of Hardin in the state of Kentucky as will appear by the records in said county dated 20 July 1809 and whereas John Beatty did convey to me the said Samuel Beatty his one half part of the said land in the state of Kentucky upon the 24th April 1815. I, the said Samuel Beatty do bind myself, my heirs, etc. to make sufficient title as shall be required by the laws of Kentucky.
