Gr-gr-granddaughter of Henry Beatty and Sara —, his wife. [p.48] Henry Beatty (1760-1840) enlisted, 1776, in Capt. Meroney's company, Col. Griffith's regiment, Gen. Beall's brigade, “Flying Camp.” He was in the battle of White Plains. Lewis Ford Dunham (1756-1821) served as surgeon in the 3rd battalion, Continental Line. He was a member of the Society of the Cincinnati. He was born and died in New Brunswick.
