    2. This is from the obit of my great great grandfather Samuel M. Burke. His sister married unknown Titus in Iowa. "SAMUEL MORTON BURKE Samuel Morton Burke was born at Geneva, Indiana on the 5th day of May, 1864 and departed this life at Cortez, Colorado, on the 15th day of Febuary, 1935, at 6:45 in the evening at the age of seventy years, nine months and ten days. He leaves surviving him his wife, Beatrice E. Burke, his son Charles M. Burke of Cortez, his daughter, Mable E. Son of Idaho Springs, Colorado, two sisters Grace Ellis Titus of Macon City, Iowa, and Lidda Shrimp of Portland, Indiana, and one brother, Ralph Burke of Gallup, New Mexico, all being present except the two sisters who were unable to come....." [p.372] Mrs. Evangel Livingston Stevens. DAR ID Number: 51835 Born in Harrison Co., Iowa. Wife of H. B. Stevens. Descendant of Abner Hollister, of Connecticut. Daughter of Abner Hollister Livingston and Eunice Augusta Titus, his wife. Granddaughter of Peter de Riemer Livingston and Caroline Amelia Hollister, his wife. Gr-granddaughter of Abner Hollister, Jr., and Polly W. Elwell, his wife. Gr-gr-granddaughter of Abner Hollister and Sarah Beatty, his wife. Abner Hollister (1754-1813), served in the expedition to Quebec under Arnold, where, after the surrender, he made his way home through the pathless wilderness. He was born in Glastonbury, Conn.; died in Cayuga County, N. Y.
