I seem to be confusing everyone! The initial figure that I listed of $30.00 was just hypothetical based on a crude guess of the # of the pages on the Rev War microfilm roll. Please do not feel you need to contribute $30.00. If you only want a CD just buy that. I think if you buy the CD you can still request 1 or 2 printed applications at the $1.50 price but I am checking on that. I have actually requested that SK Publications go ahead with the project and have stated that I will pay for the whole thing if no one else contributes. I really would like a copy of all of the pensions so I have requested the CD and the Printed version. I hate reading microfilm and I would like a chance to truly study the applications. If anyone else would like to have a CD please feel free to order one but if you just want to look at the images on BP2000 that's okay too. Laurel
Laurel, It is not hard to confuse me, but if we order the CD, why do we need the printed copies? Can we not print from the CD? Or is it not as good a quality as the printed version? I am still prepared to donate my share of what ever it takes to get a CD for the BP 2000 to post on our site, then I do not have to store another CD. Also one person does not have to foot the bill entirely.
