As you all run into these Josephs please keep your eye out for a Joseph born in Vermont(?)abt 1776 definitely lived in Vermont and married to a Susannah in about 1807 in Cambridge, Lamoille County, Vermont -- In the 1920's and 30's he was in Franklin Co. VT. He may have had a sister Louisa who married Lyman Holmes and possibly Clarissa who married Charles Wedlock.
