Collection: Making of America Books Search results: 3 matches in full text" Another one I was reading was a history of a Beattie from scotland who in the 1700's became a doctor of literature and wrote many poems. The book had about an 8 page biography on his life. It can take a long time to weed ones way through this site but there is a lot of great info in it. Sheila I Hale
