Curt Beatty, L112 State of Kentucky Grayson Count Sct This day William Ewing personally appeared before me a justice of the peace in & for the county aforesaid and made oath that on the 8th day of September 1827 Joseph Beatty the person named in the within certificate died and that he is the identical person named in said certificate and that said Beatty resided in the county aforesaid at the time of his death and that he has resided in said county upwards of 20 years Given under my hand this 25th day of October 1827 A Neighbours JPGC Grayson County Sct I Abraham Neighbours Justice of the peace in & for the county aforesaid before whom the above affidavit of William Ewing was made do certify that the above afiant William Ewing is of good character and entitled to credits 19,133 Given under my hand this 25th day of October 1827 A Neighbours JPGC Beit remembered that at a court began and held for Grayson County in the State of Kentucky On the 24th day of September 1827 the following Proceedings was had, towit An Instrument of Writing Purporting to be the last will and testament of Joseph Beatty deceased was produced in court and proven by the oaths Of William Ewing, William Fulkerson and Uriah Pirtle subscribing witnesses thereto to be the last will and testament of said Joseph Beatty dec'd which was ordered to record- And on motion of William C Wortham Executor named in said will the execution thereof is granted him.
