I would like to see all spellings of this index on BP2000. Currently Ancestry.com has an online index for Civil War Pensions (Union only, Confederate pensions are usually available at the State level). If anyone would like to do an index for an alternate spelling (Beaty, Beatty, Baty etc.) I will copy a pension for you at the Archives (your choice). Right now I am having trouble using Ancestry.com on my computer. I think there are 180 or so Beaty pensions, 70 Baty and I have not checked other spellings.
