There seems to be a little confusion about the Rev War application CD and I thought I would try to clarify things. Please do not feel pressured to this and only do this if it will be useful to you. 1) For a minimum order of $300.00 SK Publications will scan all of the Beaty/Beatty Rev War applications contained in the National Archives Microfilm series M804, Revolutionary War pension and Bounty-Land Warrant Application Files (these are all on their own roll, a list of the applications found on the roll is available on the SK Publications web page). 2) BP2000 will be given images of these applications that are suitable for upload to BP2000 web page. Thus, the images will be available free to anyone who desires to see them on BP2000. 3) Each individual contributor/purchaser will also be sent either a CD or printed copies of the applications. The CD will cost $10.00 and you may order any or all of the applications in printed form at $1.50 per pension application. Once the minimum order is met SK publications will begin scanning the microfilm. They will also continue to sell the applications but I am not sure of the pricing (right now, the cost listed for an individual order is $10 per single pension application on CD and $20 per single printed application on Ledger size paper). SK Publications will send your CD and/or copies directly to you. You also pay them directly. They have a secure server for credit cards or you may send them a check. You will not be charged unless and until the minimum order is met. To order, use the SK publications order form and mention that you want the Beaty project CD, at the following link: http://www.skcensus.com/revwarpensions.html Laurel Baty, L252
