McLanahan and Sidney McClellan, his wife. Gr-granddaughter of John McLanahan and Elizabeth Johnston, his wife. Gr-gr-granddaughter of Thomas Johnston and Martha Beatty, his wife. Thomas Johnston (1744-1819) was at Long Island in the Flying Camp, where he was wounded. He served as lieutenant and 1777-80 was captain in the battalion of his brother, Col. James Johnston. He died in Carlisle, Pa.
