Speaking of famous or near-famous Beattys, our Secretary of Transportation here in NC is a Beatty. As he is Black, I wonder if we have any Black members of BP2000. I have received a few hits on my web page from Black Beattys requesting information, and it would be great if I could refer them to members in BP2000. After all most of our immigrants from Africa have been here far longer than a lot of our Europeans. Thus they would have several generation on this side of the pond!
