John Keyes (1736-1813) served as a private in Col. Abraham Wemple's [p.255] 2nd regiment, New York Line. He was born in Middletown, Conn.; died in Otsego County, N. Y. John Marlett (1720-77) was a member of the Tryon County, New York Council of Safety, chairman of the Mohawk District, and a delegate to the 1st Provincial Congress, held in Albany, 1775. He died in Tryon County, N. Y. Gideon Marlett (1747-1820) served as ensign in the 3rd Tryon County, New York regiment of militia. He died in Marcellus, Onondaga County, N. Y. Also No. 63215. Hopkins Burlingham (1758-1823) served, 1776-77, as private in Captain Blackman's company, Col. Christopher Lippitts' Rhode Island regiment. He was born in Oneonta, N. Y. Cornelius Lane (1755-1837) was placed on the pension roll, 1832, of Canajoharie, Montgomery County, N. Y., for service, 1775, as private and sergeant in Capt. Daniel Peat's company, Colonel Frelinghuysen's New Jersey regiment. He was born in Bedminister, N. J.; died in Canajoharie, N. Y. John Hurd (1752-1827) served in a regiment raised upon the first call for troops, 1775; ordered to Ticonderoga and Crown Point to prevent those posts from being recaptured. He was born in New York; died in Albany, N. Y. Cornelius Lane (1755-1837) was placed on the pension roll of Montgomery County, N.
