Granddaughter of William Graham and Lavinia Upshur Teackle, his wife; George Brown (1786-1859) and Isabel E. Johnston McClanahan (1799-1885), his wife, m. 1820. Gr-granddaughter of John Teackle and Ann Stockley Upshur, his wife; John McClanahan (b. 1764) and Elizabeth Johnston (b. 1771), his wife, m. 1789. Gr-gr-granddaughter of Thomas Teackle and Elizabeth Upshur (d. 1782), his wife; Thomas Johnston and Martha Beatty (1761-1811), his wife. Thomas Teackle (1736-84) was a member of the Accomac County, Virginia, Committee of Safety, 1774. He was born in Virginia. Thomas Johnston (1744-1819) was at Long Island in the Flying Camp, where he was wounded. He served as lieutenant, and, 1777-80, was captain in the battalion under his brother, Col. James Johnston. He died in Carlisle, Pa.
