    1. [BP2000] Re: James Beatty - Cumberland County Militia
    2. Donna VanZandt
    3. Hi Janet & BP2000, this is one of those e-mails that is difficult to write but here goes. I am nearly positive I have made a huge error in your lineage and I will have to start all over again. At this point I cannot be certain but I am 90% positive the info I gave you was incorrect. I am starting your file from scratch and I ask that any of the postings I have made to BP2000 on James Beatty (either one I think) be disregarded until I can figure this out. Evidently we have 2 James Beaty dying cir 1827-1828??? and both end up in Allegheny county??? PA one with a wife Catharine and one with a wife Mary and both have sons William and James and a dau. Jane but one of the Janes marries Thomas Ireland and the other marries James Torrence. I have separated the info for both and will put them in separate files and start over tomorrow. Here is the info. (part) and the first part is James and wife Mary and the second is James and wife Katharine. I am so sorry for any problem this has caused anyone. I apoligize and I wish I could remove the incorrect postings to BP2000 archives but I cannot. Donna XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX Part I James Beatty and wife Mary who marries (2) John O. Unfortunately, I don't know much about James other than he had a daughter, Rachel, 1800-1872, and at some point they made their way to Western Pennsylvania where Rachel married John Aber of Plum Township, Allegheny County. James Beatty, John & Rachel Aber and other members of the Aber family are buried at the Beulah Presbyterian Church Cemetery in Churchill, Allegheny County, PA - a suburb of Pittsburgh. I know nothing of James' wife. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Janet English" <jaenglish@att.net> To: "Donna VanZandt" <donavan@netins.net> Sent: Sunday, February 22, 2004 5:20 PM Subject: Re: James Beatty - Cumberland County Militia Donna: You submitted my genealogy list to BP2000.
