Watts 12 not known THE ADAMSVILLE REGISTER OBITUARIES 1889-1939 Extracted and Assembled by R. Douglas Kreis 1995-MCCOGS BROUGHT HERE FOR BURIAL The remains of Mrs. Frances Ann Kinney, whose death occurred in Richwood, Ohio, August 25, 1920, were brought to the Salem M. P. cemetery and interred Sunday, Sugust 29. Mrs. Kinney was the daughter of George and Rebeckah Watts and was born Nov. 14, 1837, in Muskingum county. She was aged 82 years, 9 months and 6 days. She was married to John J. Kinney Dec. 21, 1857, and to them six children were born. One child died at the age of 7 and another Mrs. Minnie Fisher, after reaching womanhood. The children living are: Emmett L. Kinney, of Marysville: Mrs. Anna Fish of Ridgway: Mrs. Ella V. Neal, of Richwood: and Howard O. Kinney of Marion. A half sister, Mrs. Mary Forker, of Dresden, and a half brother, Zack Watts, of Colorado, and eight grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren also survive her. In childhood she united with the Beatty M. E. church and after marriage transferred her membership to the Salem M. P. church. After going to Union county she became a member of the Presbyterian church and continued to worship in that church until her death. She was bereft of her husband 40 years ago when he was killed by lightning on the John E. King farm in Madison township. A strange coincidence in the death of husband and wife was that they both ocurred on the same day of the week and the same day of the same month. Rev. O. E. Vice conducted the funeral services at Salem. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Chuck Gibson" <cathal@flash.net> To: <BP2000-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Saturday, March 13, 2004 7:40 PM Subject: [BP2000] Line 3 Watts Would any line 3 have the information of Charles and Elizabeth Watts children after he died and she didn't want to take care of them. She might be his 2nd wife? They were taken in by George or William Beatty. -- Chuck Gibson <cathal@flash.net> ==== BP2000 Mailing List ==== Visit the BP2000 Web Page http://homepages.rootsweb.com/~bp2000/
