The following 1784 Land Grant to John Cooper was adjacent to William Beaty on Beaver Creek north of the Holston River in Sullivan Co., TN. Believe this is the L-2 "Billy" Beaty, father of Andrew and Alexander. Still looking for his deed, but suspect it predates the Sullivan Co. records.
