Elizabeth Goodwin from Rupert Vt. she was born 1834 Sam bur. evergreen don't know where Eliz. is they had 5 children 1- Byron 1857 2, John B. 1860 3, Windfred 1863 In Iowa 4, H.L. 1869, 5, W.H. 1877 child 2 of walter Sarah 1835-1904 3, Silas 1831- 1910 4, James 1825- 1859 married Elizabeth Sprague hope this helps. Do we know anything about Samuels ancestors? I am curious because of both the Vermont and the Iowa connections. I have Bettey's in Vermont at the same time and they went to Iowa then Idaho and Washington.
