    3. This is a short but unusual Bounty Land Application. L. Baty, L252 Treasury Department 3 Auditors office August 11, 1818 I certify that it appears from documents on file in this office that George Beatty a soldier of Capt. Edward's Co. 19 infantry enlisted 29 March 1813 for 5 years and died in the service of the U. S. on or about 31 Dec. 1813. J. Thompson State of Ohio, Jefferson County At a Court of common Pleas begun and held at Steubenville within and for said county the following proceedings were had to wit Proof was this day made in open Court that George Beatty late of this county during the late war with England entered into the service of the United States in Colonel John Miller's Regiment of infantry. That he died in the service of the United States leaving a mother Charlotte Beatty and Elenor Beatty, Ann Beatty and Jane Beatty his sisters and William Beatty, Stewart Beatty and Ebanazer brothers heirs at law.. That said widow, brothers and sisters are all now residents of this county and that said heirs are all minors except said Elenor. And also that the administrations heretofore granted to Thomas Elliott in this Court on the estate of said George Beatty was granted at the request and desire of the said widow and heirs. In testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed the seal of said Court at Steubenville the 30th day of April A. D. 1818. John Patteyou, Clk
