This deed was attached to a part of mine. List lots of names but no date. I recognize a few from Land Grants in 1783. These are not my ancestors but hope this helps someone else. Thomas Beattey and others to James Beattey Junior and others No: 6739 Know all lien by these present that we Thomas Beattey, Mary Clark and James Beattey Junior Heirs at Law to Edward Beattey and James Beattey Senior assigns of James Beattey Junior, and Joseph Beattey Assign of Thomas Beattey all of Carleton in the City and County of Saint John in the Province of New Brunswick defer and in consideration of the rights Interest with claim and demand which each and either the said Thomas Beattey, Mary Clark, James Beattey Senior, William Beattey, James Beattey Junior, and Joseph Beattey have as heirs and assigns in certain Lots or parcells of Land Known as Lots Number thirty on, and thirty two in the Milkish Grour--? S. called, and which lots were granted to Edward Beattey and Joseph Beattey deceased. Have grants bargained Sold Aliened and confirmed unto the said Thomas Beattey Mary Clark, William Beattey, James Beattey Junior, Joseph Beattey and Isaiac Beattey and by these Presents do grant bargain Sell aline and confirm unto the said Thomas Beattey, Mary Clark, William Beattey James Beattey Junior, Joseph Beattey and Isasic Beattey their Heirs and Assignsall and Singular the following describes parcels of Land with their priviliges and appuritenances that is to say to James Beattey Junior and William Beattey as assigns to James Beattey two fifths parts of Lots Number thirty one, and thirty uponthe side of said lot number thirty one adjoining Lot number thirty-------------------- I have a couple more that goe with these names.
