Would like some help connecting my ALEXANDER BATY to someone else. Alexander Baty was born in Ireland ca 1808. Came to America ca1828. Married Elizabeth Lanaudiere 1828 in St. Louis, MO. Three children born to them: William & Alexander (twins) born 1834 and one sister named Helene. I believe all born in VA, possibly Rockbridge. Alexander the 2nd moved to Mass and married Margaret Mary Warren in Lowell, Mass in 1858. Later they moved to Chicago where Alexander was lost in the Chicago fire. Mary's sister died in the fire along with several children and her husband. The remaining 3 children then lived with Margaret. If anyone has a connection please contact me. L.
