In the Science Times section, Mar 6, '07, of the New York Times is an interesting article titled "A United Kingdom? DNA Suggests the Possibility." The most intriguing suggestion is that almost all of Great Britain's people came from a common DNA pool that was realtively unpolluted by the succession of invaders. This is contrary to many historical points of view and the author claims is supported by DNA studies. And that single source is N. Iberia, and our language is descended from Basque.
