Laura Elrod Beattie - wife. b. 11 Sep. 1856, Benton, Saline Co., AK; d. 1 May 1920, Sunset, TX; buried Smyrna Cemetery; dau. of Jessie Rice Elrod and Oneida Hambrick Elrod. Mary Beattie - dau., b. 9 Oct 1877; d. 12 May 1947; never married. Theodocia Beattie - dau., b. 14 Oct 1879; m. George Williamson. Robert Lee Beattie - son, b. 20 Feb 1881; d. 1959; m. Frances Greenwood. Nina Beattie - dau., b. 12 Jun 1886; m. L.D. Pennington. Samuel Isaiah Beattie - son, b. 12 Jan 1888; d. 2 Dec 1958; m. Jewell Eula Ward. Effie May Beattie - dau., b. 18 Feb 1891; d. 6 Dec. 1971; m. Henry Grady Entrikin. Eulalia Beattie - dau., b. 3 May 1893; m. Earl B. Kemp.
