Ky I don't think William was ever in Clinton or Fentress counties, Clinton was formed in 1836 from eastern third of Cumberland Co.and a small part of Wayne . Frentress was formed in 1823 from the Eastern part of Overton and a small amounts of Morgan and White. William and James Beaty were on the 1799 Cumberland Co Kentucky .
