Laura, if you have the time, is it possible to find out what BEATY line a YVONNE MYERS SMITH researched for her membership in DAR? It could be under MYERS or SMITH. Armond L-32

Hi Armond, I went to the DAR library before I saw your message--it may be awhile before I go back. The DAR has done a lot to computerize their lineages. They have scanned all member applications into a database which is searchable by member name and Patriot. Yesterday I searched for "Beatty" under Patriot and of course there are quite a few. The DAR has also scanned all of the supporting documents that used to be in the "Patriot File" and linked them to the Patriot in their database. There are 8 computers that can be used in the microfilm center at the Library to view these files--they can be printed but each application costs $10.00. I believe you can also print out the supporting documents but I did not ask the cost.
