    3. Thanks for checking that for me Nelda. This Smith does not fit and the other information does not ring a bell either. Many years ago, I was informed by someone, that there was an Andrew Beatty that came her from Ireland and had three sons, John, Thomas and William. They was sure that William was the father of my Samuel Beaty, born in Virginia, who had a son named Jesse G. Beaty, born in Virginia 1818-1820. I have found the lineage of John and Thomas, but not William (toooooo many Willams).
