My grandfather is William Gunter (1904-1977) so I am in lineage 283. I assume there is a block at Josiah born in about 1802 as I have found no additional information. Is this true? I live in Lowndes County, MS where he died. On my mother's side of the family,I have also found Mary "Polly" Beatty born about 1700 or 1713 in Maryland or Virginia and Mary was married to either Richard Bennett III or Richard Bennett IV born about 1709 or 1713 in North Carolina. Richard and Mary had a daughter named Sarah Bennett born about 1737. Sarah Bennett is the mother of Laodicea "Dicey" Langston. I am wondering if due to Mary "Polly" I might be a part of of another Beatty lineage. This is my first time to post. Kathryn Beatty Goodwin
