Here is a bit more on David and Mary. Evidently his first wife died in Ireland and he married Mary in Washington co., NY. In the Civil War pension for his wife and himself filed on their son David their marriage date is listed as 1838. The older children say born NY so that is a puzzle. I will keep note of this info in my files as L-432 could be a side line for my L-532. We have alot of the same names and with your info on this David Batiie and family from Ireland to New York to Huron County, Ohio. Huron County, Ohio is the next county east or southeast of Erie and Sandusky Counties, Ohio where my John Beatty settled from his journey from Ireland and marriage in Franklin County, New York. The top person in L-432 is listed just as an Unknown Beattie and it is possible a sibling of his could be my John Beatty's father. Only hypothecial right now but that is why I will keep an eye on this line. Thanks.
