Does anyone have a Daniel F. Beatty that was the Mayor of Washington, N.J. and a famous Organ and Piano salesman? I saw that L-198 had a man by that name, but do not know if it is this man. My sister sent me an original January 25,1879 Harpers Weekly newspaper. It is very brittle and yellow. It is rather shattered and has masking tape around the edges. There is a great likeness of one of Daniel's organs on the page number 76. It has BEATTY on the left pedal and ORGAN on the other. It has DFB two times on the board under the keys and Daniel F. Beatty Washington, New Jersey USA above the keys. His name and initials are in a couple of other places. It is a very ornate looking instrument. I googled him and found that he was a very interesting person of great persuasion, tall, heavy, bald, with a red a beard that was parted in the middle and had blue grey eyes. He was one of the most prolific advertisers of his day. He had his name on anything with a flat surface that could be observed by the public. He even painted boulders with his advertisement on them.
