Laurel, Thank you very much for the information. Yes, I do have a file on L2C. Thanks! In doing some research recently on the probability that David "Davy" Crockett owned land in the part of Overton County that became Fentress and spent time here in 1817, I also came across a Wilson Beaty Land Entry #638, Deed Book E, page 130. I don't know his connection to the other L2 lines, but am especially interested, because There is an 8- year-old male by that name in the home of William R. Beaty and Mary "Pop" Sells in 1850, but who is never mentioned as being a child of theirs, and would not fit into their age range and marriage date. Did you ever run into either of these Wilsons in your Fentress County research? Hi Willie, I did a search on my lineage 2 files and only found the 8 year old Wilson that you mention. I am sure that we are missing many children of James Beaty, L2F.
