Recently, I saw about six family lines on Ancestry showing parents, birth location, etc. for our Alexander Beaty, b 1772. One shows him living in another state at the time a son was born in Virginia. In particular, the lineage information indicates that his parents were John Beaty and Margaret Montgomery. To the best of my knowledge, no source has been found showing the names of his parents. If such data exists, I would be interested in further information. Karen
