    3. Karen, I feel for you.. There is a major problem with the inter net and on line genealogy and society today.. The people want instant gradification.. so they take information from someone elses on line files and never take the time to check where the info came from or look at sources (If even given). So bad data is copied and recopied and reposted.. You will need if you choose; to leave notes on these incorect files giving corect data and the source where it can be found in actual legal documents. The person may or may not appricate your pointing it out, but at least you tried and your data is correct! You can also refer them to our group where all of us can help them find the proof of the correct data.. I hope you find your information..     3. I've done this too. A relative posted an inaccurate family tree all over the internet (huge sigh) and I've several times posted notes on family trees that have picked up the erroneous data. I'm hoping they appreciate it, but even if they don't, other researchers hopefully will. ;) Michal Karen, I feel for you..
