    3. All, Recently I was contacted by Caroline Eveningstorm [eveningstorm@hotmail.com] requesting help in obtaining information about her Beaty lineage. Unfortunately, she didn't know much. Here is what she wrote: <<Homer David Beaty married to a Mrytis (spelling?) Smith who had a sister Sybil Smith... I do not have the part of Georgia they were from... they had three children the oldest a daughter named Delphia born in Georgia... a son named Homer Louis Beaty who was a home birth supposedly in Goose Creek/Baytown area of Texas about 1930 and the another daughter Vernice also born in Texas... Homer Louis Beaty had two daughters Martha Caroline Beaty 1952 and Nancy Lee Beaty 1953... that's the extent of my information I'm afraid... its not much but its all I have at this point... most of them are gone and there is no one to ask for further information... I do appreciate you getting back in touch with me... especially so quickly... its very kind of you... Thank you so very much!>> I did a quick search on the BP-2000 lineages and found a Homer David Beaty in Brooks Co., GA in L-364. Okay, got a name and state match. Spouse doesn't match. According to the US Census, Homer was still in GA in 1930 (not in Texas). Homer has a daughter named Ophelia in 1930. Caroline reported a daughter names Delphia. Hummm. Does anyone recognize the Homer David Beaty that Caroline described? I tried contacting Jo Beaty, one of the L-364 researchers, but got no response. I see that there is another researcher named for L-364, ie., Stephen Clay Beaty [scbeaty@bellsouth.net]. Any thoughts? Les Beaty, L-20
