Michelle, If you want to change your addy (Email account address). you DO THIS YOURSELF. First send an email to BP2000-request@rootsweb.com with the word 'unsubscribe' without the quotes in the subject and the body of the message. then resubscribe from your new email account, by sending an email to: BP2000-request@rootsweb.com with the word 'subscribe' without the quotes in the subject and the body of the message. You can not write any other words to include your signature block, if you do, the computer that does, this gets confused. Nelda mailing list administrator
Les, No, I have no info on a Randall Robert Beattie. I am L 151 on the bp2000 site; it can't be your lineage too?? Michelle, No, my lineage is L-20. I will contact you via private email about our DNA Project. You might want to recruit a male relative for our project. Genetic testing might help you with your research. Les Beaty, L-20
Michelle, Perhaps I should know this, but we have a Randall Robert Beattie from L-151 in our DNA Project database. Is he part of your family? Les Beaty, L-20 ps: Nelda, I believe she indicated in her message that she needed to change her email address and gave her new address. I presume that's what you are calling an "addy."

I am lineage 151; and I need to change my email address from jglenn2@satx.rr.com to: jglenn2@att.net I'm pretty much at a dead end on my research for Beatties in, or near, Cookstown (now N.I.) Are there any other researchers out there interested in this area, during the mid-1800's. My great grandfather, Robert Beattie, immigrated, through St. John's N.B., from Cookstown, about 1851. Then I lose him until 1874 when he married Laura Elrod and lived in Yell Co. Arkansas until 1891 then moved to Sunset, Tx. I have info on his siblings, but nothing on his parents. Thank you for your help. Michelle Glenn
Celia Thanks for mentioning my new book. I am very honored that Helen Schatvet Ullmann will be giving it a positive review in the forthcoming issue of the New England Register (yet to be published). I am Lineage 24, so the book covers that lineage, but in an appendix I gather information on many unplaced Beattys in the Donaghcloney-Magheralin area of County Down. Hi Mike/Nelda could you please edit my email address from cshale@home.com to cshale@shaw.ca for lineages 236 and 240. Shaw changed the extension from .home to .shaw many years ago. Thank you. Can anyone help Brian? ________________________________ From: Brian 'Boomer' Beattie [mailto:brian-beattie@sympatico.ca] Subject: Beattie - Beatty My name is Brian Beattie and I am looking for any info on a Thomas Beatty who was born in Ireland (1806-1866) and came to Canada and married a Ann(e) Beatty (1811-1867) (her maiden name is unknown). They both were buried in Shawville, Quebec in St. Paul's cemetery. Unfortunately there isn't any tombstone so no further info is available on them. >From what I can determine they had one child (Martin Beatty 10 May 1845 - 14 Nov 1916). Would you have any suggestions on Ann(e)'s maiden name and Thomas's parents? Thanks! Brian Beattie
