Randy, This is great! Thanks for keying these in for us. According to John Farnham Boynton's 1897 Boynton genealogy, there are a few inconsistencies in this obituary (as frequently happens): >.... Many of the older >residents of this county will remember the venerable father and brothers, >Olivet, Deacons, Bennett, Adno, Nathaniel, and one sister, Mrs. Morton, all >long since passed away. Edwin, the youngest of that respectable family is >living at Winnetka, IL. Rather than being the son of Olivet Boynton as this implies (somewhat ambiguosly), Ari Turner was his brother. All of those named are children of Justus Boynton and Rhoda Bennet. Also, there should not have been a comma after "Deacons" since that was the title held by Justus Bennett, Adno and Nathaniel rather than another brother. However, J.F. Boynton does not list a sister, Mrs. Morton. Is she in the other Boynton book, the Directory? I don't have that one.
