The passengers listed in The Early Settlers book says the following probably came with Mr.Rogers- Thomas Barker Constance Crosby Thomas Elithorp Francis Lambert, from Holm-on-Spalding Moor,a few miles from Rowley; Edward Carleton,from Barmston; Humphrey Reyner,,from gildersome;William Acy,from Eppleworth,near Hull;Hugh Chaplin,Maximilian and Joseph Jewett,from Bradford;Robert and John Haseltine,from Biddeford in Devon; Ezekial and Jeremiah Northend, cousins(both Minors) and probaby William Jackson were from Rowey; William and John Boynton,Jane Brocklebank,Thomas Nelson,John Spofford and Thomas Tenney. Other passengers on the John were Reverend Jose Glover,the father of American Printing,with his family and assistants,Stephen Day and sons,who brought the first printing press to English North America.
